Meet Mrs. Dorward

My name is Alison Dorward, and I am thrilled to be a member of the Tinicum family. I thought it might be nice to tell you a little bit about myself.

In 2009 I graduated from West Chester University's Counseling and Educational Psychology program where I received a Master's of Education, and earned NCC (National Certified Counselor) credentials. In 2013 I joined the Palisades School District as a substitute, and I am happy to continue my career here in the district.

I have many interests outside of school counseling. Some of these include working out, reading, and watching movies. I also love growing vegetables in the spring and summer months.

In my role as school counselor, I am here to support all students in their academic, career, and social/emotional development through direct and indirect services. Visit the tabs on the left to learn more about the school counseling program, and please don't hesitate to contact me with any questions.
